Ball State University Transfer Connect Program Program Overview The Connect Program, offered by Ball State University in collaboration with Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes University, allows Indiana residents who are not admissible to Ball State out of high school the opportunity to earn college credit while working toward admission. You can only enroll in the Connect Program if you have been offered the opportunity. You do not have to be enrolled in the Connect Program to transfer to Ball State. Successful completion of this program guarantees you admission to Ball State as a transfer student to continue your baccalaureate degree (admission to restricted majors is not guaranteed). Please note: Ball State does not offer on-campus housing for this program. (On-campus housing is available at Vincennes only.) Requirements 24 transferable Grade of at least Minimum college-level credits C or better in cumulative GPA from courses listed each course of 2.0 (on a 4.0 on back scale) While transfer student admission requires only 24 transferable credit hours, we encourage you to pursue 30 transferable credit hours, which is sophomore status. (If you earn 30 credit hours and obtain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above, you could qualify for the Ball State Transfer Scholarship.)
