‘SNOWCOMING’ Cast Bios LINDY BOOTH (Samantha) – Lindy Booth has been building her reputation as a versatile and capable actress by choosing roles that she feels passionately about. On the small screen, Booth is best known for starring alongside Noah Wyle in the TNT series “The Librarians,” which ran for four seasons. She also directed an episode during the last season. On the big screen, Booth starred in the action film based on a superhero comic book series, Kick-Ass 2 alongside Chloe Grace Moretz, Jim Carrey and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Booth is also known for her roles as Riley Grant on the Disney Channel series “The Famous Jett Jackson,” Agent Hawk in the show-within-a-show, “Silverstone,” and Claudia on the adventure TV series “Relic Hunter.” Booth has starred in numerous movies for the small screen, including this year’s “Under the Autumn Moon,” last year’s “Rocky Mountain Christmas,” and 2016’s “Sound of Christmas” for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, as well as “The Twelve Trees of Christmas,” “Christmas Magic” and “Brain Trust,” among others. Other TV appearances include the CBS series “NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service,” “Cold Case,” “CSI: NY,” “Ghost Whisperer,” and “The Twilight Zone.” She also appeared in the sci-fi drama series “Warehouse 13,” the ABC series “October Road,” “Starhunter” and “Mutant X,” as well as the USA Network series “The 4400.” Booth’s film credits include starring as Dodger Allen in the 2005 horror movie Cry Wolf, as Nicole in the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead, and alongside Eliza Dushku in the 2003 thriller Wrong Turn. She was born in Canada and currently resides in Los Angeles. # # # TREVOR DONOVAN (Jake) – Born in Mammoth Lakes, California, Trevor Donovan grew up skiing and snowboarding was on the US teen ski team during his teens. Aside from being proficient at most sports, Donovan is a true renaissance man, able to play guitar, sing and he has a bachelor's degree in graphic design. An ambassador for Habitat for Humanity, Donovan also is an active volunteer and ambassador with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights. Known for his work as fan favorite Teddy Montgomery, the first and only LGBT series regular on the global pop culture phenom “90210,” Donovan also starred in “Texas Rising” opposite Bill Paxton, Ray Liotta and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, “J.L. He spent the last two decades working for ESPN on their NFL broadcast and the NFL Network. A 1971 graduate of University of Notre Dame, Theismann received All-American honors and led the Fighting Irish to consecutive Cotton Bowls and was runner-up to Jim Plunkett in the Heisman Trophy balloting. In 2003, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. After turning down offers from the Minnesota Twins and Miami Dolphins, Theismann began his pro career in the Canadian Football League, spending three years with the Toronto Argonauts before joining the Redskins in 1974. From the humble beginnings as a punt returner to Super Bowl Champion, Theismann has experienced many of the challenges we all face in our constant quest to find success, by overcoming adversity. As a 12-year NFL veteran, Theismann played in 163 consecutive games from 1974 to 1985 and holds the Redskin record for passing yards, completions and attempts. He was a two-time Pro Bowl selection and led the Redskins to a 27-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl XVII. In 1982, Theismann was elected the NFL’s Man of the Year for his community service and dedication to the health and welfare of children. In 1983, he won the league’s MVP award. Then, in 1985, his career was abruptly cut short when his leg was shattered in a game against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. As an actor, Theismann appeared in Cannonball Run II and The Man with Bogart's Face, and on the small screen he played himself in the TV series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Necessary Roughness.” He has also starred in the TV movie “The Man from Left Field,” and in the Hallmark Original “Love on the Sidelines.” Today, Theismann oversees a popular Washington, DC restaurant that bears his name. Staying true to his concern for children, he is a member on the Sports Advisory Board of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. # # # ED MARINARO (Coach Kerrigan) – Ed Marinaro was born in New York City and raised in New Milford, New Jersey, where his athletic career began. As a heavily recruited high school football and basketball player, Marinaro chose Cornell University, foregoing over 50 scholarship offers, and the rest, as they say, is history. During his three-year varsity career, Marinaro set almost every Ivy League and N.C.A.A. record for running the football. A three-time All-American, he became the first player in college football history to gain over 4,000 yards in a career (4715), and he set 16 other N.C.A.A. records for rushing, scoring and all-purpose running. His career average of 176.4 yards per game is still an N.C.A.A. record. Receiving the prestigious Maxwell Trophy, he was the A.P. and U.P.I. player of the year, and finished second in the Heisman Trophy ballot. In 1991, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and a year later, he was voted the Ivy League Player of the Era. Drafted in 1972 by the Minnesota Vikings, Marinaro became the first rookie to start for Hall of Fame coach Bud Grant. During his career with the Vikings he helped lead the team to consecutive Super Bowls in 1973 and 1974. The following year, his 54 catches ranked third in the N.F.C. and his 11 catches against the San Diego Chargers was a Viking record. In 1976, Marinaro fulfilled a childhood dream and returned to his birthplace to play with the New York Jets. At mid-season he was leading the team in rushing, scoring and receiving and coming off two consecutive 100-yard rushing games when he sustained a career-ending foot injury and was forced into retirement. After moving to Los Angeles in 1978, it didn’t take long for Marinaro to distinguish himself in his new career as an actor. His rugged good looks and charisma led to a role on the hit show “Laverne & Shirley,” but it was his portrayal of Officer Joe Coffey on the Emmy®-winning “Hill Street Blues” that made him one of Hollywood’s most versatile leading men. After his seven- year run on the series, Marinaro went on to become one of the stars of NBC’s critically acclaimed drama “Sisters,” which lasted for six years. Marinaro has also become known for his role as Coach Marty Daniels in Spike TV’s comedy hit, “Blue Mountain State,” which ran for three seasons and released a follow-up feature film. In addition to starring in over 25 feature films and TV movies, Marinaro has been a sought-after spokesman for such products as Miller beer and Fruit of the Loom, to name a few.
