ON A NEW GENERATING FUNCTIONS FOR THE FOX-WRIGHT FUNCTIONS AND THEIRS APPLICATIONS KHALED MEHREZ Abstract. The main focus of the present paper is to investigate several generating functions for a certain classes of functions associated to the Fox-Wright functions. In particular, certain generating functions for a class of function involving the Fox-Wright functions will be expressed in terms of the H- function of two variables are investigated. As applications, some generating functions associated to the generalized Mathieu type power series and the extended Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function are established. Furthermore, some new double series identity are considered. A conjecture about the finite Laplace transform of a class of function associated to the Fox’s H-function is made. 1. Introduction Throughout the present investigation, we use the following standard notations: N := 1, 2, 3, ... , N := 0, 1, 2, 3, ... { } 0 { } and Z− := 1, 2, 3, ... {− − − } Also, as usual, Z denotes the set of integers, R denotes the set of real numbers, R+ denotes the set of positive numbers and C denotes the set of complex numbers. Here, and in what follows, we use pΨq[.] to denote the Fox-Wright generalization of the familiar hypergeometric pFq function with p numerator and q denominator parameters, defined by [26, p. 4, Eq. (2.4)] (a1,A1),...,(ap,Ap) (ap,Ap) pΨq z = pΨq z (b1,B1),...,(bq,Bq ) (bq ,Bq ) (1.1) h i ∞ h p i k l=1 Γ( al + kAl) z = q , l=1 Γ(bl + kBl) k! The defining series in (1.1) converges in the whole complex z-plane when q p (1.2) ∆ = B A > 1. j − i − j=1 i=1 X X If ∆= 1, then the series in (1.1) converges for z < ρ, and z = ρ under the condition (µ) > 1 , (see − | | | | ℜ 2 arXiv:2001.04793v2 [math.CA] 6 Apr 2020 [6] for details), where p q q p B p q (1.3) ρ = A−Ai B j , µ = b a + − i j j − k 2 i=1 ! j=1 j=1 Y Y X kX=1 Throughout this paper, we denote by a A a A (σ,1),( p, p) 1 (σ,1),( p, p) (1.4) p+1Ψˇ q z = p+1Ψq z . They are used to find certain properties and formulas for numbers and polynomials in a wide variety of research subjects, indeed, in modern combinatorics. In this regard, in fact, a remarkable large number of generating functions involving a variety of special functions have been developed by many authors [1, 2, 22, 3, 18, 19, 20, 21]. In a recent papers [8],[9],[10], Mehrez have studied certain advanced properties of the Fox-Wright function including its new integral representations, the Laplace and Stieltjes transforms, Luke inequalities, Tur´an type inequalities and completely monotonicity property are derived. In particular, it was shown there that the following Fox-Wright functions are completely monotone: (αp,A) pΨq z , s> 0, (βq ,A) − h i (λ,1),(α p,Ap) 1 p+1Ψq s> 0, (βq,1) z h i and has proved that the Fox’s H-function Hp,0[.] constitutes the representing measure for the Fox-Wright q,p function pΨq[.], if µ> 0, i.e., [8, Theorem 1] (αp,Ap) ρ (Bq ,βq) zt p,0 dt (1.7) pΨq z = e Hq,p t . (βq,Bq ) 0 (Ap,αp) t h i Z p,0 when µ> 0. Here, and in what follows, we use Hq,p [.] to denote the Fox’s H-function, defined by p (Bq ,βq ) p,0 1 j=1 Γ(Aj s + αj ) −s (1.8) Hq,p z = q z ds, (Ap,αp) 2iπ L Γ(Bks + βk) Z Qk=1 where Aj ,Bk > 0 and αj ,βk are real. The contour Qcan be either the left loop − starting at + iα and ending at + iβ for some α< 0 <β such thatL all poles of the integrand lieL inside the loop,−∞ or the right loop starting−∞ + iα at and ending + iβ and leaving all poles on the left, or the vertical line L+ ∞ ∞ ic, (z)= c, traversed upward and leaving all poles of the integrand on the left. Denote the rightmost poleL ℜ of the integrand by γ : γ = min (aj /Aj ). 1≤j≤p The definition of the H-function is still valid when the Ai’s and Bj ’s are positive rational numbers. Therefore, the H-function contains, as special cases, all of the functions which are expressible in terms of the G-function. More importantly, it contains the Fox-Wright generalized hypergeometric function defined in (1.1), the generalized Mittag-Leffler functions, etc. For example, the function pΨq[.] is one of these special case of H-function. By the definition (1.1) it is easily extended to the complex plane as follows [7, Eq. 1.31], (α ,A ) (A ,1−α ) p p 1,q p p (1.9) pΨq z = Hp,q+1 z . (βq ,Bq ) − (0,1),(Bq ,1−βq) h i The representation (1.9) holds true only for positive values of the parameters Ai and Bj . The special case for which the H-function reduces to the Meijer G-function is when A1 = ... = Ap = B1 = ... = Bq = A, A> 0. In this case, (Bq ,βq ) Bq m,n 1 m,n 1/A (1.10) Hq,p z = Gp,q z . (Ap,αp) A αp GENERATING FUNCTIONS INVOLVING THE FOX-WRIGHT FUNCTIONS 3 In our present investigation, certain generating functions for some classes of function related to the Fox-Wright functions will be evaluated in terms of the H-function of two variables. In order to present the results, we need the definition of the H-function of two complex variables introduced earlier by Mittal and Gupta [11]. The analysis developed here is based on the work of Saxena and Nishimoto [13], Saigo and Saxena [14]. The H-function of two variables is defined in terms of multiple Mellin-Barnes type contour integral as A a c E e (αp1 ; p1 , p1 ):( p2 ,γp2 );( p3 , p3 ) x 0,n1:m2,n2;m3,n3 x H y = Hp1,q1:p2,q2;p3,q3 y (βq ;Bq ,bq ):(dq ,δq );(Fq ,fq ) (1.11) 1 1 1 2 2 3 3 1 = φ(s,t) φ (s)φ (t)xsytdsdt, −4π2 1 2 ZL1 ZL2 where x and y are not equal to zero. For convenience the parameters (αp1 ; Ap1 , ap1 ) and (cp2 ,γp2 ) will abbreviate the sequence of the parameters (α1; A1,a1), ..., (αp1 ; Ap1 ,ap1 ) and (c1,γ1), ..., (cp2 ,γp2 ) respectively, and similar meanings hold for the other parameters (βq1 ; Bq1 , bq1 ) and (dq2 ,δq2 ) , etc. Here n1 Γ(1 α + a s + A t) (1.12) φ(s,t)= i=1 − i i i p1 q1 i=n +1 Γ(αi Qais Ait) j=1 Γ(1 βj + bj s + Bj t) 1 − − − Q hQ i m2 Γ(d δ s) [ n2 Γ(1 c + γ s)] j=1 j − j i=1 − i i (1.13) φ1(s)= qh2 i p2 Q Γ(1 dj + δj sQ) Γ(ci γis) j=m2+1 − i=n2+1 − hQ i Q m3 Γ(f F t) [ n3 Γ(1 e + E t)] j=1 j − j i=1 − i i (1.14) φ2(t)= , q3h i p3 Q Γ(1 fj + FjtQ) Γ(ei Eit) j=m3 +1 − i=n3+1 − h i where αi,βj ,ci,dj,ei and fj beQ complex numbers and associatedQ coefficients ai, Ai,bj,Bj ,γi,δj , Ei and Fj be real and positive for the standardization purposes, such that p1 p2 q1 q2 (1.15) ρ = a + γ b δ 0, 1 i i − j − j ≤ i=1 i=1 j=1 j=1 X X X X p1 p2 q1 q2 (1.16) ρ = A + E B F 0, 2 i i − j − j ≤ i=1 i=1 j=1 j=1 X X X X p1 q1 m2 p2 n2 p2 (1.17) Ω1 = ai bj + δj δj + γi γi > 0, − − − − i=n +1 j=1 j=1 j=m +1 i=1 i=n +1 X1 X X X2 X X2 p1 q1 m2 p2 n2 p2 (1.18) Ω2 = Ai Bj + Fj Fj + Ei Ei > 0.
