This gala affair will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Chateau Special Lifetime Achievement Award Briand, Carle Place, New York. The cocktail hour will begin at 7:30pm fol - lowed by dinner and dancing. The donation for our Winter Charity Ball will Victoria Schneps-Yunis be $100 per person. To commemorate this special event, a Souvenir Journal will be published. With over 250 guests expected to be in attendance, the evening promises to be a social and financial success. Special Recognition Award New York’s own State President Carolyn Reres , has graciously accepted Frank Primeggia our invitation to be one of the honorees for this evening. We are sure you will enjoy greeting President Carolyn, New York OSIA’s 32nd State President and Special Humanitarian Award an outstanding leader and true supporter of OSIA’s charitable endeavors. Carol and Rocco Berardi Our Special Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Victoria Schneps-Yunis. Mrs. Schneps is the Publisher of The Queens Courier. Her life-long quest is for sound communication with a public that oftentimes may not see both “sides of a story.” To that end, she has established herself with a wide, credible and beneficial communication effort with expanding publica - tions in the Greater New York City area. She is a noted benefactor for many charities and causes, especially for disabled children and adults. We will also have the pleasure of awarding Frank Primeggia with our Special Recognition Award. Mr. Primeggia is Managing Director of Rehabilitation Services and Facilities at Helen Keller Services for the Blind. Headquartered in Brooklyn, its mission is to help individuals of all ages and CARoLYN ReReS VICtoRIA SCHNePS -Y uNIS FRANk PRImeggIA degrees of blindness live independently within their own communities by pro - viding an array of rehabilitation services. He has proven himself as an extra - ordinary role model for all to admire. In addition, we are delighted to highlight the contributions and accomplish - ments of Carol and Rocco Berardi of Staten Island, by presenting them with our Special Humanitarian Award. This wonderful couple has worked tirelessly to raise funds for many philanthropic organizations, and we are delighted to honor them for their unselfish dedication and commitment to the Italian American community.
