Introduction: To further aid in our understanding of the summer reading texts and to better internalize strategies for rhetorical analysis (5 Steps and What/How Approach), we will complete a group activity. Students will form groups and analyze one section of the novel Fast Food Nation or the documentary Supersize Me. Each group will present their findings to the rest of the class via a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation. Groups should act professional and be well prepared for their presentations. We will cover presentation skills in a separate lesson before you present.
