We offer the following credentials that will be an asset to your agencies going forward. Experienced Firm: Our firm has completed similar projects throughout the NY metropolitan area for NYSDOT and a number of local municipalities consistent with DOT requirements from early environmental processes through final design and into construction. H&H alone has the following key in house elements required to complete this project: • Staffing Over 500 employees with over 250 individuals in the Melville and NYC offices alone to meet the needs of this project • Fast Track Design H&H’s proficiency in design build is a testament to a team that is experienced in working with tight windows of design time frames to ensure the County’s aggressive schedule is met. • Commitment to Excellence in the Civil, Structural, Drainage, and Construction realms – H&H in the past five years alone has undertaken (and completed) some of the largest design contracts awarded from NYSDOT as well as local projects for NYCDOT, Suffolk, Nassau and Westchester Counties consistent with NYSDOT and Local Administered Federal Aid Requirement & Procedures. Seasoned and Proven Team Management: H&H has assembled a seasoned management team for this project, consisting of individuals carefully designated based on their expertise in specific roles and on their ability to commit to this project. Led by Principal-in-Charge, Keith Griesing, PE, and Overall Agreement Contract Supervisor and H&H’s Transportation Lead & Melville Office Director David Lapping, PTP, we offer to the County individuals who are hands- on managers guided by a management approach focused on communication within the team and with the Regional contacts and municipalities, project controls, and issue resolution. They are thoroughly familiar with NYS operations and procedures and will ensure that the H&H team and Suffolk County has all the resources necessary to successfully complete each assignment. Our “Team of Experts” is structured to provide expert on-call services, providing immediate responses to requests for services, and quickly deploying qualified staff to each assignment. We understand the many project types, large and small, that may be assigned under this contract, and we understand the importance of each assignment regardless of size. To supplement our in-house expertise, we have added to our team these exceptional subconsultants: AKRF provides state and local agencies, municipalities, and private developers with a full range of analyses covered in environmental impact statements, as well as transportation planning, master planning, economic feasibility studies, site planning, hazardous materials studies and mitigation, historic and cultural resources surveys, green design services, greenhouse gas evaluations, permitting assistance, and construction support. AKRF is widely acknowledged as a leader in environmental impact assessment and permitting; their experience in the field and commitment to our clients has made us one of the most respected firms in the Northeast. Suffolk County Local Design Service Agreement (LDSA) 2019-2022 March 29,2019 Gedeon GRC Consulting is a full service, professional, MBE/DBE certified firm, providing engineering services in the planning, design and construction management of infrastructure projects in both the public and private sectors. Their team of experts combines in-depth knowledge of engineering and construction principles with skills and familiarity with site specific issues to deliver high quality design and construction services to clients. Gedeon’s offices are located in Syosset and they have a long-standing reputation as one of the “go to” DBEs on the Island. Their past experience with Suffolk County DPW and NYSDOT will be a great addition to the design team. Gayron de Bruin (GdB) (WBE) is an industry leader providing geospatial services to A/E/C professionals, government agencies, and the public. For the past two years GdB was ranked as one of the top 100 geospatial companies throughout the United States by Point of Beginning magazine (www.POBonline.com). GdB was recently inducted into the ArcGIS Online specialty, which is reserved for only the most competent GIS users. GdB is also a certified ESRI Business Partner, which exposes them to the latest GIS technology, and ESRI developers. We have added to our team a SDVOB subconsultant, Hayduk Engineering, LLC, (HE) to meet potential federal requirements. HE has worked with both SCDPW andH&H as a sub to H&H on our Phase I-IV project for storm improvements at 6 Suffolk County Watersheds. Hayduk will be providing additional civil engineering services for this project. Hayduk Engineering provides insight and technical expertise in roadway design, improvements and reconstruction to meet the needs of the LDSA. For over 30 years Infra Tech Engineering, LLC (ITE) is a certifed D/M/WBE firm who has been providing Construction Inspection, Resident Engineering and Con-struction Management Services to its clients.Services include: Construction staging and planning, CMP Scheduling in bridge inspection and rehabilitation and risk analyses associated with all types of construction contracts. Once awarded a contract, the depth of the H&H team’s expertise ensures a process that is streamlined, thorough, well integrated and well coordinated. As you will see in our proposal, the H&H team keeps up with progressive methods and issues affecting design standards and funding through continuing education.
