Installing Microsoft Teams – mobile phone or tablet Before installing Microsoft Teams on your phone, you first have to install Microsoft Authenticator and InTune Company Portal: Install Microsoft Authenticator Download Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.azure.authenticator&gl=GB 1. Open the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) on your phone and search for ‘Microsoft Authenticator’; download the app by tapping on ‘Install’ (circled): 2. Open the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) on your phone and search for ‘InTune Company Portal’; download the app by tapping on ‘Install’ (circled): 2. DO NOT sign in to the App After installing the above Apps, install Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams 1. Open the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) on your phone and search for ‘Microsoft Teams’. Download the app by tapping on ‘Install’ (circled): 2. When the App has finished installing, tap on the icon to open it, and tap ‘Sign-In’ (circled): 3. You may be taken to a screen with an account to sign in with; if it is not your work account, tap on ‘Sign in with another account’ (circled): 4. Enter your work email address and tap ‘Sign-In’ (circled): 5. You will then have a brief loading screen while you sign-in, as shown below: 6. After signing in, you will be presented with the next 3 pages below; tap ‘Next’ on the first two and ‘Got it’ on the final page (as circled): 7. After tapping ‘Got It’ on the previous screen, you will then be asked to set up and confirm a 6 digit pin. 8. You are now set up and ready to use Microsoft Teams on your phone. Optional Microsoft Edge 1. Go to the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS), search for ‘Microsoft Edge’; tap ‘Install’ (circled): 2. Open the App; you may be presented with an account to sign in to – if this is not your work account tap, ‘Sign in with another account’ (circled): 3. On next screen, tap on ‘Sign in with a work or school account’ (circled): 4. On the next screen, tap on your work email address (circled): 5. The following message will then be presented; tap on ‘OK’ (circled): 6. You are now able to use Microsoft Edge . Microsoft Office (for Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents) 1. Go to the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) and search for ‘Microsoft Office’; tap ‘Install’ (circled): 2. Open the App; you may be presented with a brief loading screen (left), before being asked about the App accessing files – tap ‘Allow’ (circled): 3. A screen with a little video will play; tap on ‘Get Started’ (circled): 4. After another loading screen (below left), you will be able to use the app to access Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents (below right): N.B.
