SHNITKA, Printer to the Queen's Most Exeellent Majesty 1966 BILL No. 48 of 1956 An Act to amend an Act respecting the Young Men's Christian Association of Edmonton (Assented to , 1956) Preamhle WHEREAS the Young Men's Christian Association of Edmonton has prayed for an amendment to chapter 40 of the Statutes of Alberta, 1907, being "An Act respec­ ting the Young Men's Christian Associa~on of Edmonton" and it is expedient to grant the prayer of the said petition: THEREFORE, HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1. An Act respecting the Young Men's Christian Associ­ ation of Edmonton, being chapter 40 of the Statutes of Alberta, 1907, is hereby amended. SE'CtiOll 1 amended 2. Section 1 is amended by striking out the words "City of Edmonton" and by substituting the words "Province of Alberta", so that the section shall read as follows: 1. Alexander Cameron Rutherford, John Alex­ ander McDougall, John Henry Riddell, David George McQueen, Peter Butchart, Thomas McMur­ ray Turnbull, Henry Allen Gray, Wilber Ira Crafts, Robert Lee, Abraham Cristall, William Whitfield Chown, James McClacherty Thorn, Cecil Ethelbert Race, Henry Gilbert, Henry Ward Beecher Doug­ las, William Henry Reid, William H. 1\1artin, Donald Walter MacDonald, vVilliam Thomas Henry, Her­ bert Alddrigde, Allan Bruce Powley, Fred Ross, Samuel Wallace \Villiamson, Robert Thomas \iVil­ liamson, William Antrobus Griesbach, Hugh Wal­ lace Campbell, John Irvin Mills, William Newton Condell, Albert Edward Potter, George Brown Mc- ·Leod, Hugh Henry Hull, Edwin Charles Pardee, Thomas Ford Jackson, Kenneth W. MacKenzie, Cecil Sydney Sutherland, John Sommerville, Alex­ ander Forin, Henry Astley, Charles George Jones, Oscar Frederick Strong, Ernest Edward Chauvin, Henry Richard Smith, Samuel Johnson McCoppen, Thonlas Maltby Grindley, Fred Swinton Watson, Edward Thomas Bishop, John Byron Mercer, John Henderson, Cassel Morton Tait, James Emberly Wallbridge, Charles Allan Myers, John Henry Hart, Rob-ert Barton Chadwick, James Burns Walter, 2 Albert Freeman Ewing, or such other persons as are now or shall hereafter become members of the said association, shall be and they are hereby con­ stituted a body politic and corporate under the name of "The Young Men's Christian Association of Edmonton", and shall have power to acquire and hold real estate in the (Province of Alberta), or any lease-hold or other interest therein, provid­ ing the annual value of the real estate so acquired or held and not actually used for the work of the said association, does not exceed at anyone time $10,000.00, and the same, or any part thereof, to alienate, exchange, mortgage, lease or otherwise charge or dispose of as occsion may require. 3.
