Hampton said she is eager to move the college forward. “When I stepped away from Memphis in May, I felt like I had one more good job, one more challenge to pursue,” she said. “Many positive things are happening in our region, and the mission of Mid- South Community College aligns closely with my professional passions.” “I am truly excited about the possibilities at MSCC and am honored to be a part of such an excellent team. I appreciate Dr. Fenter for giving me this opportunity and look forward to helping make more great things happen at the College.” Hampton, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications from the University of Tennessee at Martin, started her career as a promotion director at WMC radio in Memphis.
