Fitnah Chedet.co.cc February 25, 2013 By Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad 1. Mudahlah nak buat apa pun. 14. Anak saya Mirzan juga dijadikan sasaran fitnah Anwar. Benar dahulu dia menjadi pengarah San Miguel. Tetapi San Miguel Filipina bukan syarikat bir sahaja tetapi semakin banyak terlibat dalam industri makanan dan petroliam. 15. Setelah fitnah dilempar kepadanya, anak saya letak jawatan. Berani kerana benar, takut kerana salah – demikian pepatah Melayu. 85 Comments 1. politichand March 7, 2013 at 12:09 PM | Permalink In response to anti-jibaok and sudin I guess it takes a ‘hamlau’ to recognize another ‘hamlau’ and a bigger ‘hamlau’ to consider himself as supreme and make known as “anti-jibaok”. In politic you see more ‘hamlau’ then anywhere else. Patience has its virtues I totally agree with you and thats the reason I am commenting in this blog anyway. I don’t think you get my message. My message is merely to remind someone that I love Tun Mahathir Mohamad ( A Man in a Hurry-Time Magazine) not to push Mukhriz (“anak bapak”) to be a MB at his rawness in state politics. Patience has its virtues. History has shown how the giving birth of Sanusi Junid in Kedah by Tun is a total disaster despite him being a matured and experienced minister then. State politics is a unique playground that high education, money, and father can be of any significant. The choice of leadership has to come from the people of Kedah not from any significant or influential person. In Kedah we are only interested in winning the state back, but the movement create overzealous lead by Mukhriz group in all form lead by Tun is just inappropriate at this juncture. This group move as though anak bapak is already an MB and insensitive about other leaders in the state. If this is proper then what is the difference between him and KJ. This is where I tend to compare him with KJ. That is why I also affirmed my stand that anak bapak is not even 10% of KJ to stand as an eminent leader. I am not an ardent supporter or runner for KJ for I have a reservation about him. But like everyone sees unless one is blind or deaf, KJ has the charisma and has what it takes to be a good leader if nurtured well. Whereas anak bapak have a very very long way to go and still need the father for his survival in UMNO and Malaysian politic. You are good in your response and I guess they paid you well to be the custodian of Tun family. Have a great life. 2. anti-jibaok March 7, 2013 at 7:01 AM | Permalink In response to politichand – as posted on March 6, 2013 at 11:59 AM Surely you would know what the meaning of the word ‘anti’ is.., but if you are not at all familiar with the Malaysian street jargon such as ‘jibaok’ or ‘hamlau’ or perhaps even ‘haprak’, then you could be a ‘jibaok’ yourself. And.., Yours Truly here dislike ‘jibaoks’ (plural i.e.) of any form. That is why Yours Truly bear the synonym of ‘anti-jibaok’ here. Anyway, back to the topic or issue at hand. Like I had said before in my earlier response to you, i.e. – Patience has its virtues..!! When Dr. Mahathir was Prime Minister of Malaysia, there was a lengthy article about him that appeared in the popular ‘TIME’ magazine with a full-face portrait of him on the front-cover page that read – ‘Mahathir Mohamad – A Man in a Hurry’. Well.., we can roughly deduce what the magazine was implying by such a line. If you say that it is no longer speculation in Kedah about the aggressive movement of Tun to ensure that his son become the next MB.., then I won’t argue on such statement because I do not have the facts to say otherwise. Nonetheless, if what you say is true, then you know of his capabilities as implied by TIME magazine.., i.e. when he moves.., he moves swift and fast. Despite moving swiftly, Tun is a pure strategist, who moves with great planning, methodically and with fine-tuned implementation. However, not all of Tun’s planning and implementation had achieved total success. The Perwaja project was one of such example during his tenure as Prime Minister. As another example (after retiring as PM), his effort in the participation of The Freedom Flotilla with the ‘MV Rachel Corrie’ vessel in ‘The Free Gaza Campaign’ was not a total success in terms of objective, but possibly a success in terms of spirit. Thus, perhaps Tun has the nature and tendency in not fearing to try something out instead of merely to remain idling or inactice. With regard to Mukhriz.., if he is ‘prepared’ to be the MB of Kedah (regardless with or without his father’s support) then that is one issue, but is he truly ‘equipped’ to take up the job..? Being ‘prepared’ and being ‘equipped’ are two different things. As an example, being prepared to do business is very much different from being equipped to do business. As another example, being prepared to go to war is different from being equipped to go to war. Thus, is Mukhriz really ‘equipped’ especially with the knowledge, skills and experience to take up the job..? Has he covered and is really conversant or familiar with the local ‘political terrain’..? Does he have the required aptitude and attitude to face such a terrain..? Those are the considerations should Mukhriz feel he is able and capable to be MB and be shouldered with such trust and responsibility.., and not to be pushed into something because others want or tell him to do so..! That is why I keep saying that – Patience has its Virtues. However, you would be well advised by refraining in ridiculing Tun Dr. Mahathir in his own domain. Your disdainful overtones against Tun on this (Mukhriz-MB) issue have somewhat revealed a glaring and deceptive agenda on your part. You have put yourself in a position that you are party lobbying for others to be the MB of Kedah. You have also put yourself in a position who glorify Pak Lah as well as being a lackey of KJ..! Very true.., Pak Lah was also once known as ‘Mr. Clean’ and a ‘nice guy’. But one must not forget that to really test a leader, then that person should be given total power and authority. When Pak Lah was given ‘total’ power & authority as Prime Minister, that was when he began to fail. He could not defend himself and felt threatened when quizzed and queried by some ‘External Forces’ after being implicated in the ‘Oil-For-Food’ debacle while he was Malaysia’s Foreign Minister during the sanctions of Iraq during the 90’s.
