Swatters.” The “swatter” is accompanied by a 34 ½ in. bat-shaped gourd with indistinctly inscribed panels, one with a possible faint Babe Ruth signature, as well as a family letter showing descent of both items from the original owner, Cincinnati area baseball lover and leader and Master of Ceremonies at the Monday, April 13 (1932) third annual dinner of the K.I.O.
