YouCSHS are either Goes a pretender Hybrid? or a CONTENDER!! - Increase Blue Devil Pride!! in COVID-19 Cases? Haylea Thompson Scheduling As I’m sure you heard when you got to school Monday morning, the Penncrest school district is going hybrid from November 9th, 2020- January 11th, 2021 until further due. The Penncrest school district will be participating in an A/B day schedule; students with last names A-K will go to school on A days (Monday, Wednesday) and students with last names L-Z will go to school on B days (Tuesday, Thursday). Nobody will attend in-person learning on Fridays. The block days, regular Wednesday and Thursday schedules, will no longer be active at CSHS as we will have a normal seven period day for every day of in-person school and virtual. Although students will not attend in-person learning for two days a week, the teachers are trying their best not to ‘rob’ students of their education, as Mr. Werkmeister would say! CSHS - Sticking Together Things as simple as handing out the newspaper you are reading right now will definitely not be the same. With half of our peers missing and teachers not getting to see all of their students everyday things will seem a bit out of place for a while, but CSHS will keep the same positive attitude, and continue battling the COVID-19 hardships together.
