E e e Nevertheless, the increasing dependence on the Internet and other communication O R s networks means the Internet has also become a popular and efficient way to spread n e computer viruses and other types of malicious software (malware). A r tu Malware attacks are increasing in both frequency and sophistication, thus posing a L e c serious threat to the Internet economy and to national security.
