When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C. background: QSOX2 is a member of the sulfhydryl oxidase/quiescin-6 (Q6) family (QSOX1; MIM 603120) that regulates the sensitization of neuroblastoma cells for IFN-gamma (IFNG; MIM 147570)-induced cell death (Wittke et al., 2003 [PubMed 14633699]).[supplied Product Detail: by OMIM, Jun 2009] Function: Catalyzes the oxidation of sulfhydryl groups in peptide and protein thiols to disulfides with the reduction of oxygen to hydrogen peroxide. May contribute to disulfide bond formation in a variety of secreted proteins. Also seems to play a role in regulating the sensitization of neuroblastoma cells for interferon-gamma-induced apoptosis. Subcellular Location: Membrane. Secreted. Cell membrane. Nucleus membrane. Seems to be predominantly targeted to the nuclear and outer plasma membrane. Tissue Specificity: Expressed in pancreas, brain, placenta, kidney, heart and fetal tissues. Weakly expressed in lung, liver and skeletal muscles. Similarity: Belongs to the quiescin-sulfhydryl oxidase (QSOX) family. Contains 1 ERV/ALR sulfhydryl oxidase domain. Contains 1 thioredoxin domain.
