Euskotren to offer Metro and Railway night services from next weekend • The Friday and Saturday night service on the Line 3 of the Bilbao Metro underground will start on Friday 3 July • Railway services on Saturday nights in Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa will be run from the 4th Euskotren, a publicly-run company of the Basque Government, will run night underground (Line 3 in Bilbao) and railway (Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa) services from next weekend. The Company will partially restore an interrupted service, with it ending earlier, as part of the process to adapt the schedule to the different measures implemented during the situation caused by COVID-19. In view of the evolving demand after the lifting of the state of alarm and in order to facilitate mobility between our municipalities, Euskotren brought forward the start of the summer service to 8 June in order to meet the specific travel needs of the summer period. It is now increasing the night service at weekends and will be partially running the Line 3 underground services in Bilbao on Fridays and Saturdays and the rail services on Saturdays. The night service schedule will be as follows: METRO UNDERGROUND (LINE 3 IN BILBAO BETWEEN MATIKO AND KUKULLAGA) • Friday nights. From Kukullaga/Etxebarri, 9 circulations between 0:08 a.m. and 2:08 a.m. In the other direction, from Matiko/Bilbao, 10 circulations between 0:00 (midnight) and 2:15 a.m. • Saturday nights. From Kukullaga/Etxebarri, 10 circulations between 0:08 a.m. and 3:08 a.m. In turn, from Matiko/Bilbao, 9 circulations between 0:00 (midnight) and 2:15 a.m. RAILWAY (Saturday nights) • Bilbao-Deba: from Bilbao, one train circulation Deba (departure at 23:45 from Matiko and another to Traña (departure from Matiko at 1:45 a.m.). From Deba, one circulation to Bilbao departing at 1:40 a.m. • Kukullaga-Lezama: from Kukullaga/Etxebarri two circulations (departing at 0:08 a.m. and 2:08 a.m.). And from Lezama one circulation departing at 0:51 a.m.) • Amorebieta-Bermeo: one circulation in each direction (from Amorebieta, departing at 0:19 a.m. and from Bermeo at 1:18 a.m.). And another one from Amorebieta to Gernika, departing at 2:19 a.m. • Topo (Lasarte Oria-Hendaia): from Lasarte, three circulations to Hendaye, departing at 0:00 midnight, 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. A further two circulations from Amara to Altza departing at 0:52 a.m. and 1:52 a.m. In the other direction, three circulations from Hendaye to Lasarte, departing at 0:03 a.m., 1:03 a.m. and 2:03 a.m. (this train ends in Amara), and a further three from Altza to Amara, departing at 0:05 a.m., 1:05 a.m. and 2:05 a.m. Further information by phoning 944 333 333, www.euskotren.eus, @euskotren and on the Euskotren official app. Release date: 1 July 2020 .
