The VilbfJeS shelled were Kfar Rupin, Maoz I-Iaim,, Neve Eitm, Hamadiya, Beit Yosef, Yaxdena, Ashdot Yaakov, Tel Rat&r, Kinneret. Israel forces returned fire in self-defence, in the direction of the sOlXt?ces of fire in Jordan. As the Jordanian attack continued and grew in intensity it became necessary to employ also aircraft; to silence the Jordanian fire, The exchange of fire ended only at 0200 hours.
