Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Land Administration’s letter No.S1/3828/98 (Survey) dated 2.3.99 ORDER In the Government order first read above, the Government ordered for the implmentation of Patta Pass Book Scheme in seven more districts namely Cuddalore, Dhamapuri Salem, Namakkal, Dindigul, Ramanathapuram and Tirunelveli Districts. The Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Land Administration was requested to send necessary draft notification to be published in the Tamil nadu Government Gazette in this regard. The Government have now decided to bring into force all the provision of the Patta Pass Book Act 1983, except sections 5,9 (Tamil nadu Act 4 of 1986) 15 and 23 in the above said seven districts covering 54 taluks with effect from 1.9.1999 2.The Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Land Administration has sent the draft notification for publishing in the Tamil nadu Government Gazette. It is hereby ordered that the Appended Notification be published in the next issue of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette and that the Gazette copy be supplied to the Collectors of Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri Ramanthapuram, Dindigul, Tirunelveli and Cuddalore.
