The agent did not reply. 63 Planning Applications The Panel considered individual reports from the Planning and Development Manager regarding seven applications for planning permission. No machinery or power tools shall be operated on the premises, no process or operations shall be carried out and no deliveries shall be taken at, or despatched from, the site except between 09:00 hours and 18:00 hours Mondays to Fridays, 09:00 to 13:00 Saturdays; no work shall be undertaken at any time on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Reason: In the interests of preserving the amenity of neighbouring residents, in compliance with Policy EN6 of the Allerdale Local Plan. Page 3 2. Noise emanating from the premises shall not exceed NR 40 when measured at the location identified on the attached noise monitoring location plan dated 3 July 2008. Reason: To safeguard local residents from noise and disturbance, in compliance with Policy EN6 of the Allerdale Local Plan. 3. No repair works to vehicles shall take place other than within the building identified as the workshop area on the plan. Reason: To safeguard local residents from noise and disturbance, in compliance with Policy EN6 of the Allerdale Local Plan. 4. Any facilities for the storage of oils, fuels or chemicals shall be sited on impervious bases and surrounded by impervious bund walls, details of which shall be submitted to the Local Planning Authority for approval. The volume of the bunded compound should be at least equivalent to the capacity of the tank plus 10%. If there is multiple tankage, the compound should be at least equivalent to 110% the capacity of the largest tank, or 25% of the total combined capacity of interconnected tanks whichever is the greatest. All filling points, vents, gauges and sight glasses must be located within the bund. The drainage system of the bund shall be sealed with no discharge to any watercourse, land or underground strata. Associated pipework should be located above ground and protected from accidental damage. All filling points and tank overflow pipe outlets should be detailed to discharge downwards into the bund. Reason: To prevent pollution of the water environment, in compliance with Policy EN6 of the Allerdale Local Plan. 5. There shall be no storage of liquefied petroleum gas within the site without the prior written approval of the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that any storage of liquefied petroleum gas complies with health and safety guidelines and to ensure no ancillary use of the site as a fuel filling station. Page 4 6. The use hereby approved shall solely be operated by the occupier of ‘South View’, the neighbouring property. Reason: To safeguard the future residential amenity of occupiers of ‘South View’ and neighbouring residential properties, in compliance with EN6 of the Allerdale Local Plan. 7.
