AFC Portchester, Att: 415 The 31st League Cup Final saw Sholing win it for the second time with a 2-1 win over Baffins Milton Rovers. Goals for the Boatmen coming from Byron Mason on 14 minutes and Dan Mason seven minutes after the start of the second period. Blu Boam grabbed a consolation for Baffins deep into added on time at the end, with the last kick of the match. Chelsea completed a 5th Premiership title (six overall) winning season but were thwarted in their attempts to win the FA Cup going down by the odd goal in three against Arsenal. Harry Kane was the leading scorer in the top flight with 29 goals. South Shields completed a 4-0 win over Cleethorpes Town in the FA Vase this season. Since then no Northern League side has picked up the Vase after an extraordinary run of eight victories from nine appearances at Wembley and were runners up in the shape of Stockton in 2018. The Northern League have accounted for 10 victories and are way ahead of the pack as to wins. The North West Counties and Western leagues each have four title winners with ourselves, the Northern Counties East, West Midlands Regional and Isthmian leagues have three.
