At The Nature Conservancy he oversees conservation strategies for Latin America and global efforts to achieve eco-sustainable food security. His efforts have also focused on the protection of indigenous lands and minimizing the impact of agricultural expansion in Latin America. Dr. Cleary’s keynote talk, “Latin America and Globalization: 100% What are the Environmental Implications?” will take place in the Union’s Theater (room 206), from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
