HED ChemSAC (March 18, 2015) approved a proposal entitled: “ChemSAC Recommendations on “Crop Grouping – Part XVA: Analysis of the USDA IR-4 Petition to Amend the Crop Group Regulation 40 CFR § 180.41 (c) (26) and Commodity Definitions [40 CFR § 180.1 (g)] Related to Crop Group 19 Herb and Spice Group. Original Combined Herbs and Spices” which would divide the Herb and Spice Group into two separate crop groups one for the Herb Crop Group 25 and one for the Spice Crop Group 26 based on the distinctions between herbs and spices. The above mentioned herb and spice crop group petition requested the following four herb proposals: 1.
