To connect anyone, anywhere to a life changing relationship with Jesus. This is through the preaching and proclamation of the Gospel, the teaching of Christian principles, the pastoral care of Christian people and the printing and distribution of the Bible and Christian literature. The advancement of education of Christian principles through training and teaching in the Church to enable growth in faith and action. Freedom Church is an international organisation located in many cities around the Globe and is also looking to build out to further locations, Rotterdam maybe used to support the missions to other locations in the world, through volunteer support and/ or financial support. 4 Implementation Plan The objective will be completed by- 1. To communicate and demonstrate that Anyone, Anywhere is welcome to Freedom Church a. Connect with others through a thriving digital and online presence, connecting with the local community. Through the use of- i. Smartphone applications ii. Online resources iii. Regular Facebook and Instagram communication iv. YouVersion Bible App and daily devotionals 2. Accessible Christian material a. Hard resources that are accessible to all- Bibles/ Devotional material free for those who would require it 3. Passionate worship a. Music that is applicable to today’s audiences but will be used to worship God. b. Praise and gratitude to God will be first and foremost c. High quality music with the use of instruments to inspire and encourage worship to God. 4. To advance the Christian religion mainly, but not exclusively, by means of: a. Holding prayer meetings, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and/ or distributing literature on Christianity to enlighten others about the Christian Religion. b. Regularly social meetings to build community and supporting others through prayer, giving of time and resourcing to grow each others faith. 5. Provide training, support and activities that develop the skills, capacities and capabilities of others to grow others in their faith. a. Leadership Courses b. Bible teaching and workshops c. Discipleship training d. Cultural training 6. To advance and help young people through- a. The provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life. b. Supporting families at events by providing support to children 7. The relief of persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress or who are aged or sick through strong community networks that support these situations. 5 a. Seek to support other charities in the local area of Rotterdam who are in need of support, time, financially or through prayer. 8. Building of a healthy church through a strong safeguarding policy that protects others in the Church, especially those in need or vulnerable. a. Global safeguarding policy that protects those that volunteer and teaches on the important of care, understanding and compassion for others and how people are treated. b. Protection of Children through completing necessary checks and legal requirements. 9. Outreach to the community through inviting personally, building relationally. So that those who are looking for Church can be enabled in their discovery of our Church and who we are. a. Weekly group meet ups that are built to inspire faith, growth of relationships and contending for God’s best. 10. Financial transparency. a. Church is built on tithe, donations and giving. (Proverbs 3: 9-10/ Numbers 18: 26) b. Finances will be used to give or purchase- i. Tithe to the Freedom Church central location in the UK of 10% of all income. ii. Support those in the Church and outside in need as the Church board sees fit. Perhaps clothing/ financial support, but this is not limited to those said items. iii. Christian resources iv. Outreach resources- leaflets/ banners v. Building costs e.g Rent/ materials for building vi. Production equipment vii. Outreach events- hire of other buildings/ materials for themes of events viii. High quality kids toys and resources that will encourage healthy fun and enjoyment and greater understanding of God. ix. Digital outreach- used for Facebook boosts/ Google Analytics and Adwords. x. Gifts to volunteers in the Church- to thank and encourage others. xi. Other costs that focus on building a healthy Church and is decided jointly as a leadership team c. Assets of the Church are used to support the implementation plan, such as production equipment for passionate worship. Assets are owned by Central location of Freedom Church in the UK, which is in Hereford. d. If at any point the ANBI charity closes in the Netherlands then the assets will be released back to the UK charity of Freedom Church (Charity number: 1161926), and/ or another ANBI in the Netherlands, depending on the decision made by the supervisory board. 6 7 Board composition and Board Members UK Supervisory board Reporting to the supervisory board that is in the United Kingdom named Directional Leadership Team (DLT) and Locations Team (LT). These said teams are responsible for the accountability of the Chairman and decision making of the board in Rotterdam, that it would, at all times make decisions that are best for honouring and following God and building a healthy Church. Rotterdam Supervisory Board The Rotterdam supervisory board communicate and decide on the best decisions for completing the overall strategy of Freedom Church in Rotterdam, no decision is made without full agreement of the board. Before implementation of said decision DLT and LT will be notified and there will be a requirement of their agreement before moving forward.
