Traditions People get together with their families They hold a big meal, which is the Thanksgiving meal. Some provinces have parades to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. You: I’d like to have a 14-inch Pepperoni pizza, and a 14-inch Hawaiian pizza. Operator: What dips or sides would you like with your order? You: I’d like 20 chicken wings. No dips please. Operator: Any drinks? You: I’ll have a Large Coke please. Operator: Is that everything? You: Yes. Basic Order Example Operator: What’s your address? Read the restaurant’s menu on the internet If server asks too early, tell him/her “Give me a few more minutes please.” Tips and Pointers If you want to stay longer after eating, tell your server ◦ “Can we stay here longer?” Don’t be nervous!
