Dayholos ©Copyright 2007 William Dayholos II Acknowledgments The value of ones existences can always be measured by the support they receive from others. Be it family or not it is still unselfish support for another human being who is asking for help. Thank you Rose Dayholos, Marjory Marciski, Irene Sulik, Grace Single, Janice Abstreiter, and Robert Regnier for your editing help. This book is dedicated to my partner in life. To me a partner is one whom you can share your ideas with, one who can be trusted not to patronize these ideas, one who can differentiate their own truth from yours. A person who has an equal spiritual level and understanding, and encourages only through support of your ideas and not to through expectation. A true partner is one who balances out any weaknesses you have in the same fashion as you do for them. One’s weakness is the other’s strength, together you create a whole, a relationship that is stronger than the individuals themselves. In true fashion my partner has both helped and supported this book’s creation. Without this partner’s help it might have run the risk of being too much “me”! This was never the reason for the book. Thank you so much Joanne Hendrickson for being my partner in life and this book’s creation. IV Prologue Mysticism may be defined as the belief in a third kind of knowledge. The other two being sense knowledge and knowledge by inference. The “third kind” of knowledge is one that goes past what is observable, because direct observation is not always what it appears to be. The “edges” of our sciences and religions are starting to realise this with every new generation. As we shift into greater capacities to understand and with more sensitive instruments to discern with, we find more questions than answers. A mystic is one who, above all else in life, has a desire to know what is behind the physically perceivable level. To define is to limit, and no single definition will cover every aspect of mysticism. Some have objected to the term itself and believed that "enlightenment" or "illumination" might be better. Yet these words themselves are “traps” in understanding. For example, there is no complete definition or limit to enlightenment. It is only a perspective from position or level of a person’s current understanding. To become a mystic one must first recognise what is not working, and then seek for the changes that will make it work. Many cannot get past the realisation that something is not working and needs to be changed. Many cannot get past the realisation that something is not working and needs to be changed. Many of us become “sheep” to our own apathy and blind trust. Mystics are not blind simply because they ask, “Why is it this way?” This is the mystic’s role in culture. They fall V under the label of scientists, artists, and even religious figures. They are the ones that are in the background, observing, so as not to get “wrapped” up in blind faith. Mystics can see the holes, where everyone else sees a wall. To fall under the illusion that all mystics are balanced evolved people would be a mistake. There have been many mystics that have used their ability to “see the holes” as points of opportunity to advance themselves through personal gain, be it prestige, financial, or just plain power. Typically, these mystics have a need to draw attention to themselves, which is usually a good indication of their imbalances. The balanced mystic is usually part of the “wallpaper”, one working in the background, which you would never guess as being one. If you have something to teach it is important to make it available, however an effective mystic understands that only those who need the information will hear it. The adage, “When the student is ready the teacher will appear” cannot be over exaggerated. I understand this as a truth and know the ones that gravitate to this book are ready for the information, be it one phrase or a whole chapter. I am a mystic by definition because I’m an enigma in my own culture. I‘m not affiliated with any religion including the religion of science, nor am I entertaining the thought of creating one. This would be completely opposite to my beliefs and understandings, my very nature of being “wallpaper”. I have sat back for decades listening to the sciences, religions, and even the New Age movement. I have observed the pedestal sermons, individuals clambering for the public’s attention, all with the intent of gain, with little to no truth behind the information. There comes a time in one’s life where our understandings and teachings need to be expressed. As I read and listened to material on ancient and metaphysical worlds, I reached a point where I needed to say out loud, and in public: “What the hell are you talking about and where did you get this understanding from?” VI This is the driving force behind my writing and why I now, for a brief moment, must become the “furniture in this wallpapered room”. I must speak out and describe it from the perspective that is shared with me through universal understandings. This is the same repeated information that most of the mystics have been taught, past and present. The main difference between myself and a mystic thousands of years ago is in the method of communication. Communication is based on processing and exchanging information via the senses at our disposal. In other words, how many senses are is a person using? Typically, we are credited with five recognized senses. This is not accurate and to those who experience more than five, some become a silent minority, the mystics. How does one begin to explain to others that have not experienced what you have? One of the best metaphors to understand this is the “color demonstration”. We know that we can show a child what the color blue is. We can then show them the color red and they understand both. Now, explain the color blue to a blind person, and then the color red. After you have accomplished this explain the difference between the two colors. True communication is not about explaining anything, it is about sensing the truth, which is your truth, and how does this affect you as an individual. I have heard people exclaiming; “If aliens are visiting us why don’t they contact our scientists?” The truth is, there would be no communication possible, simply because there must be a common understanding for an exchange to take place. In this truth, what is known and understood in the entire universe is completely opposite of what our science understands and believes. Our current culture is so far behind the true understanding of universal design and operation that we must start over again. Many scientists today are saying the same thing (it is not just my opinion). Their statement comes from frustration, because none of the theories compliment each other. The better the instrumentation gets, the more they realize the old VII theories are all wrong or just contradict the old axioms. Today scientists are starting to recognise that they need to go back to the basics. Science based only on intellect is and will prove to be a dead end process. Stepping outside the known (intellectualest box) is the only future for science, as well as organised religion. Only the brave and true explorers will accomplish this, and probably only in secret. They will be the first to discover the truly exciting discoveries to be found in this universe. Past mystics working outside the norm are recorded as historical visionaries and can be recognised in most of the major past discoveries. Mystics included in this list are Albert Einstein, Marie and Pierre Curie, and Isaac Newton. Mainstream science will never admit to the fact that their major players and founders were extracting information using unorthodox methods. The truth is that Einstein dabbled in metaphysics with Upton Sinclair and the medium Roam Ostoja. Alchemist Isaac Newton was relentless in his pursuit of the avant-garde, being rejected in his own time for it. The Curies and their group of fellow scientist signed documents stating the validity of metaphysics. Out of their group alone came five Nobel Prizewinners. These are and were true mystics in every sense. History books can censor this part out, but the fact is they reached out of the physical norm to achieve their goals. Today they are labeled as scientists, mainly because their discoveries have finally caught up to this present acceptable academic dogma. Getting back to the alien and the problem of trying to find a common communication method with the human race.
