RFP 13MISC8 ATHLETIC TRAINER SERVICES (RENEWAL) FACT SHEET A. Overview: This recommendation is for the renewal of licensed Athletic Trainer Services for school sports throughout Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS). 1. Other Facts: The renewal term will be effective from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, with two additional one- year renewal options remaining. Approximately $127,320 was spent in FY15. This contract provides a full time (approximately 25 hours per week) certified Athletic Trainer to nine FCPS high schools. Currently, Frederick High School (FHS) has a teacher on staff that is a certified Athletic Trainer and provides these services to that school for an additional stipend. Also this contract provides substitute services to FHS, if needed. The contract will be administered by Kevin Kendro, Athletics Supervisor. 2. Source of Funding: FY16 Approved Operating Budget. B.
