Careful maintenance can bring a very long life to HPPs. • New projects Develop them as multi-purpose projects. Coordinate the water use. Provide them a good environmental integration. • Framework Harmonize the legal-administrative frameworks for cross-border projects. A large hydropower potential resides along these shared rivers. 13.
