FP NEWSLETTER " VANCOUVER ARTIST HIGHLIGHT : BRUCE’S CORNER MOLLY GRIFFIN & TRISTAN PAXTON I grew up in Calgary with a tight group of friends with similar interests: sports, cars, music and girls; not necessarily in that order. Thinking back now, I'm not so sure they were all interested in music. I think that those who were into music kind of forced our tastes onto others, and since they wouldn't have listened to music otherwise, it was all they would know. Now I wouldn't want to suggest that this was a crime to not have a natural love of music, as we're all wired differently, but it is a shame. Back in the day when I got a driver’s license, the state of the art listening device was the eight track deck. His father being a professional singer and drummer, Tristan consequently began his performing career at ten SPRINGSTEEN - BORN TO RUN years old.
