2020 Community Impact Report The pandemic amplified the demand for basic needs in our communities. Combatting hunger and homelessness, bolstering mental and physical health, and supporting evolving educational needs were more critical than ever. Nsight maintained its commitment to furthering the missions of local organizations that not only had to double down on their efforts to help our neighbors in need, but also had to reimagine how to safely deliver those services. An internet connection and sufficient data were critical to supporting a new way of daily life and the Nsight family of companies quickly pivoted to meet customer needs. Cellcom and Nsight Telservices committed over million $2.7 to provide connectivity during the pandemic Cellcom added 5GB of high-speed data to most plans for the months of April and May. The additional high-speed data allowed customers to use wireless connectivity more freely while they adjusted their routines. Nsight Telservices offered two months of free internet service for new customers to help them meet the needs related to virtual schooling and remote working. This allowed people who may have gone without a home connection the opportunity to adapt to the changing circumstances without financial barriers. The commitment to keep everyone connected during the pandemic was valued at over $2.7 million. With the anticipated economic impact of the pandemic, Cellcom and Nsight Telservices joined the Keep Americans Connected Pledge. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) created the pledge to ensure the nation had reliable broadband and telephone connectivity during the COVID-19 outbreak. Cellcom and Nsight Telservices agreed to not terminate service of any residential or small business customers because of their inability to pay their bills due to disruptions caused by the coronavirus and late fees were waived. Customers were grateful for the effort and appreciated the support amid the uncertainty of the pandemic. BROWN COUNTY UNITED WAY supported a local neighborhood literacy program at NAVARINO NEIGHBORHOOD (socially distanced) Extending Employee Efforts and Impact Nsight is committed to bettering our communities, including empowering our employees to be involved. The Givin’ a Little Back (GALB) program rewards employee volunteer efforts with cash donations to nonprofits of their choice. With fewer opportunities for hands-on volunteering in 2020, Nsight also matched financial donations and contributions of physical goods to further the efforts of employees. The result was a total of $13,898 donated to 67 local organizations on behalf of our employees. United Way was instrumental in identifying and funding major community needs during the pandemic. Nsight’s United Way Employees campaign gave employees the chance volunteered to contribute to United Way’s mission with $I3,898 a company match.
