It is only a short drive from the historic market town of Richmond with its famous Norman Castle and many other amenities such as theatre and cinema. There are also plenty of pretty traditional Dales villages and exciting visitor attractions to explore nearby. The house itself, which accommodates up to nine people (ten by arrangement), is surrounded by flowering meadows and is set in enclosed spacious grounds with its own private stretch of river. Nature abounds and the only sounds to be heard are the call of wild birds and occasional conversation of distant farm animals. With no other neighbours, it is quite simply the perfect rural retreat.
