www.planitplus.net Fife College Fife College was formed in August 2013 from the merger of Adam Smith, Carnegie College and the non landbased department of Scotland's Rural College (SRUC). The main campuses are in Dunfermline (Halbeath), Kirkcaldy (St Brycedale and Priory), Glenrothes (Stenton), Levenmouth and Rosyth, with a network of local learning centres throughout Fife. Fife college is home to 17,000 students and 1,000 staff. A new campus in Dunfermline at the Shepherd Offshore site is planned. Courses and subjects The college offers over 400 courses across 40 different subject areas at a range of different levels, including NC, HNC, HND, SVQ and degrees. There is a wide range of subjects split into different departments: Access to Qualifications, Further Study and Higher Education; Administration, Office Technologies and Legal Services; Built Environment; Business, Enterprise and Accounting; Childcare; Community and Supported Learning; Creative Industries; Culinary Arts and Hospitality; Digital, Computing and Cyber; Data Science; Engineering and Energy; Mathematics; ESOL; Hair, Beauty and Make- Up Artistry; Health and Social Care; Mathematics; Science; Social Science; Sport and Fitness; STEM; and Tourism, Events and Customer Service. Facilities and services There are libraries, student support and guidance teams, student support and guidance teams, student association, cafes, bistros and restaurants, available across all campuses. In addition there is a theatre at St Brycedale, hair, beauty and holistic therapy salons located at Cupar, Halbeath, Stenton and St Brycedale Campuses, and a fully equipped gym with sports hall and fitness studio, also at St Brycedale. Specialisms The college has a number of specialisms but places focus on the key employment sectors in the region, including construction, engineering, and digital technologies.
