Meascan (page Sound 8) brings together six exceptional musicians Daniel Bannon, Ray Duffy to create a sound which can be described Cian Hamilton, Ray McAndrews as ‘futuristic trad’ and ‘Uprooted’ features the results of a new collaboration between Volunteer Co-ordinator Brokentalkers and a culturally diverse group of Suzanne Donnelly people living in Sligo (pages 30/31). Festival Intern Laura Keegan This year sees the further development of our literary programme with a premiere Irish Board of Directors appearance of Maggie Nelson. We also welcome Noreen Callaghan, Niall Henry, Lisa Monahan, our first ever Cairde Young Curators programme Marie O’Byrne, Stephanie Pawula & Brendan which presents a series of music, workshop and Tierney Partners film carefully selected by our youth panel.
