GUILDFORD GRAMMAR SCHOOL UNIFORM GUIDELINES Guildford Grammar School Uniform Guidelines Statement The school uniform is an important part of the School’s culture and reflects the value we place on traditional standards of excellence whilst being innovative, creative and forward thinking. The appropriate uniform must be worn by students at all times when they are representing the School, this includes when travelling to and from school (including exeats) and when attending inter-school functions or designated internal school functions such as plays or concerts. Students are expected to wear their uniform in such a way as to show pride in being identified with the School. Australian and overseas boarders are not required to wear the School uniform when travelling to the homes of guardians or parents who reside outside of the city of Perth. Context Students must wear the approved school uniform of the season during the school day, the school week and the school term. Uniform Transition In 2018 the Guildford Grammar School uniform entered a period of transition. From this time new uniform items began to be purchased from the Clothing Shop. Old uniform items may continue to be worn until new ones are needed. The School recognises students may wear a combination of old and new items during this transition period.
