Join us for the first full- scale celebration of Science the West Coast has ever seen! The month-long event celebrates the Science and Innovation all around us with events, lectures, and activites county-wide to engage all audiences from students, to teachers, to parents, to science professionals, or anyone that is just curious. The centerpoint of the festival is the Science Expo in the Park, a 2 day all-out celebration of science exploration and discovery that will be held in conjunction with The Science and Engineering Fair. Science Month - March 09 For the entire month of March the Science Festival comes to schools with in-classroom activities and 50 of San Diego’s most inspiring scientists. calendar Discovery Week - March 30 - April 3 A full week of science exploration with science- themed events at sites all over San Diego County. Balboa Park, UCSD, The Salk Institute, and others will host Clean Tech, Space and Exploration, Nanotechnology, and more! Expo Weekend - April 4th & 5th The finale of the Science Festival is an action-packed, hands-on weekend of exploration, discovery and fun as we take you on a journey to learn how science impacts your life.
