We are always striving to offer the best variety of performances, and the best service to our customers, and hope your experience is a fantastic one. Don’t hesitate to alert one of our front-of-house staff if there is something we can do to improve your experience. Here are a few highlights from the results of our successful 2015-16 season: • More than 140,000 people attended a performance here; • More than 36,000 children took part in one of our Education Through the Arts programs (that’s a 28% increase over the previous year); • More than 400 musical instruments were loaned to area students through our Music for Schools lending library; these low-income students would not otherwise have been able to participate in their school’s band or orchestra program; • We expanded our Mariachi Camp to Cloverdale, and also conducted a special ukulele project at Bellevue Elementary. This is just a sampling of our work in the community, and none of it would be possible without the support of our members, donors, and sponsors. Due to the significant need and interest for these types of free and subsidized programs in our community, we are pleased to launch the LBC Arts and Education Fund, which will help provide vital funding to these unique programs. Turn to page 36 to see how a small monthly donation can make a big impact right here in our community. Thank you again for your patronage and please enjoy the performance! Paul Wilcock Rick Nowlin CHAIR, BOARD OF DIRECTORS PRESIDENT & CEO THE MISSION OF LUTHER BURBANK CENTER FOR THE ARTS is to enrich, educate and entertain children and adults of the North Bay through accessible and outstanding presentations of arts, family and entertainment performances, education programs, visual arts and community use of our facility.
