Classes meet for 36 weeks for 50 minutes per period. One-half credit is awarded for a semester of successfully completed work. Students are graded on a COURSE LISTING letter basis (A+ - F) with quality points awarded from A+ = 4.330 to F = 0.000. The cumulative grade point average 2020-2021 (gpa) is based only on courses taken at St. Agnes Academy and is calculated by dividing the semester quality point total by the number of semester courses. The gpa is weighted for Honors and Advanced Placement courses. The following units are minimum for the diploma: 4 English, 4 Theology, 4 mathematics, 3 science, 3 world language (same language), 3 social studies (includes .5 economics), 1.5 fine arts, 1 health & physical education, .5 Freshman ENGLISH WORLD LANGUAGE MATHEMATICS SOCIAL SCIENCES Studies Seminar, 2.5 electives.
