Dystopian Literature All in all, we’re just another brick in the wall… Objective: At the end of this lesson, students will be able to distinguish the difference between a utopia and a dystopia. Students will be able to identify 3 characteristics of a dystopian society and cite evidence from a movie clip to support their answer. What is a Utopia? ● A place, state, or condition that is ideally perfect in respect of politics, laws, customs, and conditions Is this such a thing as a “utopia?” YES NO What is dystopia? ● What is a dystopia? ● How do you think it it similar to a utopia?
