Summariske oplysninger om Færøerne og Grøn- land er optaget i selvstændige afsnit og et afsluttende internationalt afsnit indeholder hoveddata om forholdene i en række forskellige lande. Statistisk årbog er tillige en indgangsnøgle til den officielle statistik. Udover uddrag af Danmarks Statistiks egen produktion, er årbogen således suppleret med materi- ale, som velvilligt er stillet til rådighed af andre myndigheder eller institutioner (angivet i tabelkilden). Denne udgave af Statistisk årbog, som er den 101. årgang, er suppleret med fem nye tabeller, mens andre fem tabeller er udgået, jf. nedenstående oversigt. Kommentarer og forslag fra årbogens brugere er meget velkomne. Postkortet på side 559 kan benyttes hertil. There are chapters containing summary information about the Faroe Islands and Green- land and a chapter on international statistics. The Statistical Yearbook is also a guide to official statistics. In addition there are tabula- tions of data compiled by Danish authorities or institutions other than Statistics Den- mark (sources are indicated). This is the 101st edition of the Statistocal Yearbook, which has been supplemented with five new tables, while five tables have been excluded from the present edition, cf. below. We always welcome comments and proposals for improvements of the book. Please use the postcard on page 559 to this end. The tables in the Statistical Yearbook are compiled by the divisions at Statistics Den- mark which cover the subjects concerned.
