CORTERRA SOLID SURFACE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Corterra® is a solid-surface polymer resin (with aluminum trihydrate and other fillers) and conforms with ANSI Z124.3, ANSI Z124.6, ICPA SS-1, IGC 156-2009, CSA B45.0-02, and CSA B45.5-02 requirements. Corterra® uses a minimum of 15% post- consumer recycled material and a minimum 5% rapidly renewable material derived from bio-based sources. Corterra® comes in several attractive color options to compliment surrounding decor. PRODUCT QUALITIES: l Crack-Resistant, durable, long-lasting material l Smooth, non-porous surface l Easy to clean and maintain l Chemical and stain resistant l Impact and scratch resistant, therefore deterring vandalism l A polymer resin application that contributes to LEED points l Resistant to heat and water damage, excellent thermal shock performance l 9 available colors allow for a more appealing, contemporary look l Content that is between 5% and 20% recycled material CLEANING TIPS: l Regular maintenance involves wiping the surface down with a soapy sponge and wiping dry with a clean cloth. l Stains caused by beverage or chemical spill can be removed by soaking a cloth in a mixture of soap and water. Then wipe agent over the affected area until clean. l Soapy water or any ammonia-based cleaners will remove most dirt and stains. l For stubborn stains try soaking affected area with mild household cleaner, such as Windex® or Lysol®, for approximately 10 minutes. Then rinse it with water and wipe with a Scotch Brite® pad. l To remove persistent stains use a Scotch-Brite® pad and an abrasive cleaner or a solution of household bleach and water (1 part water to 1 part bleach), do not let bleach soak in for more than two (2) minutes. l To remove dry or hardened particles, such as gum or food, by scraping use a putty knife or a blade. Be careful with blade or the putty knife because it can scratch the surface. l To make surface shine like “new” again, rub a polishing agent or even regular toothpaste. Using a polishing brush evenly polishes the surface.
