Iota Lambda Rho has organized to achieve this end and has developed a program which I fully believe is consistent with the goals and objectives with the International Business Fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. The students through this organization are attempting to attain better understanding not only between the students and faculty, but between the two universities. The fraternity attempts to provide students with a greater understanding of their fields of interests by having speakers and tours of businesses and industries in the surrounding area to accomplish this worthwhile end. On behalf of the administration of Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, I highly recommend that these young men and women be chartered by the International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi. Since the organization of this chapter, the memibers have been active in planning and providing a program of professional business speakers, field trips, and social activities for all students in the business department. This has provided further development and a closer bond amiong the fraternity's miennbers, the business departmient, and area industrial and business firms. In organizing this fraternity they have been able to utilize their knowledge fromi business courses and job experiencies; and they will continue to utilize this in the years ahead. They also work together with sonne of the other campus organizations to provide a closer and stronger relationship among all students. It would be an honor to have Iota Lambda Rho among the other organi zations here on campus. Cordially, x^John P. They began organizing last spring se mester and had Mike Eikenberry from Fort Wayne National Bank as their first quest speaker; they also toured International Harvester, thus meeting some of the goals and objectives of Delta Sigma Pi. During fall semester they have become more well known both on campus and in the community. Mr. Dale Ferrier, President of Indiana Wire Die Company was their first guest speaker and was quite impressive. Other speakers included Joan Uebelhoer, County Auditor, and Bill Whitten, broker. Their tours included General Telephone Company in August, Peter Eckrich business offices in September; and Chicago Federal Reserve Board of Trade, and First National Bank in October. The representatives of Peter Eckrich were quite impressed with these young men and women and have invited them to return. The frate2mity members are also becoming active with other orga nizations on canpus for greater unity and promotion of social activities. They are currently sponsoring, along with the other Greek fraternities and sororities, a formal dance on October 29. They are also planning to participate in the annual Penny Carnival to raise money for our Day Care Center. We are hoping this will alleviate apathy on caitpus and involve the students in the many activities provided. I would highly recommend that the members of Iota Lambda Pho be come charter members of the national business fraternity. Delta Sigma Pi. Robert S.
