Keynote Speaker and "Continuing the Legacy of Stonewall" Award Recipient: Andrea Jenkins. Andrea Jenkins is a performance artist, poet, and trans activist. She is known for being the first African-American openly trans woman elected to public office in the United States, serving since January 2018 on the Minneapolis City Council. LGBTQIA+ Student and Staff/Faculty Leadership Awards At Rainbow Graduation, a UMass Amherst undergraduate or graduate student and a faculty or staff member will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to the LGBTQIA+ and ally communities on campus.
