Finding an Entrance to the Georgia State University Library (Atlanta campus) You can enter either building (Library North or Library South) to get to your meeting room. A bridge (“The Link”) over Decatur Street connects the two buildings. To enter Library South, use either entrance from the sidewalk on the south side of Decatur St. The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning is on the first floor. To enter the Library, you will need to use the elevator or stairs down the hall and to the left to get to the 2nd fl. There are lots of ways to enter Library North, but none of them are particularly easy to find. Probably the easiest is to use the stairway under the pedestrian bridge between Library North and Langdale Hall. Alternately, you can enter Langdale Hall from Peachtree Center Ave, go up the steps (or elevator) and straight through. Either way you will be in Library Plaza, and can then proceed to the Library North entrance. We strongly recommend walking, using public transportation, or taking a cab/ride share (both Uber and Lyft are available in Atlanta) to get to downtown. Parking can be a hassle. If you require parking, please let us know at least two days in advance so we can alert personnel at the G Deck (cost is $7 per day). Directions to the GSU Library (100 Decatur St. SE, Atlanta, GA 30303) from the Georgia World Congress Center: On foot (0.8 mi.) – from the south end of the GWCC, go left (NE) on Andrew Young International Blvd. Turn right (SE) on Marietta St, which becomes Decatur Street. MARTA (www.itsmarta.com/train-stations-and-schedules.aspx) – Dome/GWCC station to Georgia State station is two stops. From the MARTA station, turn right (NE) as you exit the station (on Piedmont Ave.). The Library is in the second block, just past Collins (below)/Courtland (above). Directions to the College of Law (85 Park Pl NE, Atlanta, GA 30303) from the GWCC On foot (0.8 mi.) – from the south end of the GWCC, go left (NE) on Andrew Young International Blvd. Turn right (SE) on Marietta St. Turn left (NE) on Broad St. Continue NE on Peachtree St for one block. Turn right on John Wesley Dobbs Ave. The College of Law will be on the right in one block. MARTA – Dome/GWCC station to Five Points station is just one stop. Exit the MARTA Five Points station and turn left onto Peachtree St. Turn right on Edgewood Ave. and then left on Park Pl. Walk up Park Pl. for about two blocks. The College of Law is on the right. Alternately, if mobility is a concern, you can transfer at Five Points to a northbound Red or Gold line and ride one stop to the MARTA Peachtree Center station. This puts you within about a block of the College of Law. Exit the MARTA Peachtree Center station on Peachtree St. and go left to John Wesley Dobbs Ave. Turn left for a few feet and then cross Dobbs at Park Pl. The College of Law is on the left. .
