Based in Scotland, they have performed at London’s Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, St. Martin in the Fields, and the BBC Chamber Music Proms, and at festivals across the UK, including their own Loch Shiel Festival in the Scottish highlands. NATALIE CLEIN, CELLO Wednesday, March 20, 2019 @ 2PM | $35 Appointed as the first Distinguished Artist-in-Residence at Oxford University in 1,000 years, British cellist Natalie Clein has built a distinguished career, regularly performing at major venues and with orchestras worldwide such as the Philharmonia, the Royal Philharmonic, the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, the Orchestre National de Lyon, and both the Vienna Chamber and English Chamber Orchestras. In 1999 Natalie was appointed as one of the first Artists to join the BBC Radio 3 New Artists Scheme and this past season she curated a series of concerts for BBC Radio 3. These concerts were recorded live at LSO St. Luke’s bringing in record audience numbers for the lunchtime series.
