McKitbon Grand Master Masonry, like stained glass windows, lets your inner light shine, so "Live Better Masonically!" Our Grand Master was born and educated in Windsor, Ontario. He is an electronic technologist and journeyman electrician, now retired from the faculty of Fanshawe College where he served as a professor in the electrical/electronic department. In 1961, he married Marjorie Milsom of Windsor. Their marriage is blessed with a son, Douglas, a psychologist, teaching at Lethbridge University, in Alberta, and his wife Anne Marie; and a daughter, Heather, an elementary teacher on leave with the Toronto District Board, raising, with her husband Brian, three grandsons, Cole, Evan and Luke, in Ajax, ON. In 1969, Bro. McKibbon was initiated into King Solomon's Lodge No. 378, and served as their centennial Master in 1979. He was elected District Deputy Grand Master (1983-84) for the London West District. In 1989, he was appointed, then elected in 1991, to the Grand Lodge Board of General Purposes, serving on the committees of Education, Blood Donors, Condition of Masonry, Management and Seminars and Workshops. In July, 1 997, he was elected Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Canada in the Province of Ontario. M.W. Bro. McKibbon is an involved member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, having served the London Lodge of Perfection and Rose Croix Chapter as production/property committee chairman and trustee from 1 977 to 1 987. In 1 984, he was coroneted an Honorary Inspector General 33° in Edmonton; and is a member of the Royal Order of Scotland. He is presently the Second Lieutenant Commander of Moore Sovereign Consistory, Hamilton. He is a charter member of London Daylight Lodge No. 735 and Millennium Lodge UD; an honorary Past First Principal of St. John's Chapter No. 3, Royal Arch Masons. A member of Mocha Temple Shrine, participating in the Oriental Band, Shrine Club and Alumni Units. Bro. McKibbon has served Richards Memorial United Church in various capacities, having been chairman of Church Worship; Property, Building, Personnel, Official Board and a past director of the Argyle Manor Corporation, a nonprofit Seniors Apartment attached to the Christian Education Complex. He is presently chairman of the Board of Trustees. M.W. Bro. McKibbon is the Grand Representative of the Grand Lodge of North Dakota. His hobbies are photography, camping and stained glass.
