In other words, do all that we reasonably can even if there is no perfect protection from the virus. PREPARING TO ATTEND SUNDAY MASS, PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Registration is required for attendance at all of the Masses so that we can limit the congregation to a count of 50. The contact information, which you provide by phone, email, or on-line registration, is retained in our parish office for 30 days. Should there be an outbreak, the Interior Health Authority and the B.C. Ministry of Health need to be able to contact people who may have been infected. Bishop Gregory Bitmann has continued the dispensation from the obligation to attend SundayMass. What that means is that if you are not confident in the safety of environments outside of your home, you need not heroically venture out. There are three ways to register for one of the three Masses, with your name and telephone number: by on-line registration link (each person individually, include your name and telephone number in the box). From the parish office, you will receive an email with a new link each week, by Monday morning, for the following weekend Masses. by email, including your name and telephone number, to the parish office [email protected] by telephone, Monday to Friday 9:30 AM to 12 Noon (we will also check the voicemail) At the church, please confirm your registration with the usher in the church foyer to verify your attendance. It is helpful if people avoid arriving just a few minutes before Mass. The only entrance is through the main door (near the confessional). Ushers will be alert if the wheel-chair ramp is needed. Hand sanitizer is to be used when entering and exiting the church. 2. Wear a mask and wash and sanitize hands regularly. 3.
