PURPOSE: The purpose of this document is to issue a tentative plan for Annual Safety Oversight Audit (SOA) / Inspection of Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) systems providing services to Air Navigation, Communication Operations and other equipment as assigned to the DAAR, in accordance with ANO-001-ARTS, ANO-008-ARTS and CNS Inspectors Handbook (MNL-001-ARTS) and other applicable DAAR ANOs and documents. 2. SCOPE: The Technical Standards (TS) Tentative Safety Oversight Audit / Inspection Plan is applicable to all airports / locations providing CNS & Com-Ops services, as mentioned in this plan at Para- 4 and 10. Surprise inspection / visit could be carried out, randomly, of any airport / location for the purposes as mentioned at para 10.2 of this plan or as deemed appropriate with approval of D.AAR. 3.
