Travel Trade Press Release Travel trade partnerships deliver exclusive “Frozen” experiences Hong Kong Disneyland Resort works with travel trade to offer unique tours based on blockbuster "Frozen" story and characters (June 29, 2015, Hong Kong) – Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has rewarded customers of its highly‐valued travel trade partners with special experiences of snowy magic as part of its coolest summer ever, as Queen Elsa and the enchanting “Frozen” Village based on the animated blockbuster arrive at the theme park. More than 1,000 guests from China, Southeast Asia and Taiwan joined specially tailored group tours or FIT packages designed by the resort and its travel trade partners and enjoyed exclusive experiences of the “Frozen” Village on June 20‐21 and June 27‐28. “The animated blockbuster ‘Frozen’ has captured the imagination of fans worldwide since its premiere. All the ‘Frozen’‐themed entertainment, souvenirs and food and beverage items introduced in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort have been hugely popular with ‘Frozen’ fans,” says Martin Leung, Travel Trade Sales Director, Hong Kong and International, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. “To take the ‘Frozen’ experience to another level, the resort worked with travel trade partners to tailor‐make dedicated ‘Frozen’ tours and travel packages that immersed guests in the coolest summer they've ever experienced. Cool tours like no others The dedicated “Frozen” tours, designed around the snow‐filled experiences at “Frozen” Village, are unique in their own way with varied offers and itineraries to cater to different markets, yet invariably surprise guests with how much cool fun they can have in the sizzling summer heat. The “Frozen” adventure started with the “Frozen” Festival Show, a special musical performance starring Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and Kristoff. In this 20‐minute experience, guests sing along to fan‐favorite songs from “Frozen," ending with an emotionally‐charged finale of “Let it Go” when Queen Elsa uses her magic to trigger mesmerizing flurries of snow inside the Crown Jewel Theater. Guests got to feel cool snow in their hands again as they stepped into the “Frozen” Festival Square where they can build a snowman with their own hands. On the “Olaf’s Ice Slide” created by Queen Elsa with her power, they can hop on a toboggan to enjoy a quick adrenaline rush, or seized opportunities to snap photos with lovable snowman Olaf, who loves summer and warm hugs, and the endearing reindeer Sven. Stepped out of “Frozen” Village, they also joined the Animation Academy to learn the secret of bringing Olaf to life on paper. Their memorable journey was rounded out sampling a delightful array of “Frozen” delicacies such as Olaf Mini Waffles, Olaf Lemon Tart and Olaf Cupcake, and picking up a rich collection of “Frozen” souvenirs, reminders of their coolest summer yet at the theme park.
