With such an exciting term coming to end it is nice to share some of the Fairy Tale learning we have done this term since we have not been able to have you in the classroom to show you. We read, retold and acted out many fairy tales. We grew beans when we read Jack and the Beanstalk. Made gingerbread men to eat. Designed and made bridges inspired by the Three Billy Goats Gruff. We Huffed and Puffed different materials around like the Big Bad Wolf using our own breath or hairdryer power. We have finished the term up with making Dioramas about our favourite fairy tale. Here are just a few. We also rewrote a different ending to the Gingerbread Man story, and created and wrote some encouragement for Gerald, the giraffe who couldn’t dance.
