This programme was set up by the Foundation to provide home healthcare services for the poor elderly sick in the community and the training of their caregivers. 3 The services are rendered by professional healthcare providers in the homes of the elderly which include health assessment, tube-feeding, change of tubes, mobility training, wound care, injections, incontinence care and other related services. 4 These services are provided, free-of-charge, to the needy elderly residents in the districts of Marine Parade Community Development Council (CDC), Ang Mo Kio-Cheng San CDC and Hougang CDC. It plans to offer this service to the elderly in North-East CDC and Sembawang-Hong Kah CDC next year. 5 I would like to commend the Foundation for providing free medical services to the elderly. I hope that the Foundation will continue to keep up its good work. 6 It is now, my pleasure to flag off this fund-raising event. …………………..
