Construction activity to begin Sunday, September 16 Project overview The Fairbanks Avenue Roadway & Wastewater Improvement Project includes the installation of a new gravity sewer system, the repaving of Fairbanks, and the beautification of the corridor between US Highway 17-92 and Interstate 4 (I-4). What does the project include? . Installation of new sewer system . Repaving & restriping of road to add new bicycle lanes . Replacement of two signalized intersections . Installation of decorative street lights . Improvements to pedestrian crosswalks What should businesses expect? . Most of the work on Fairbanks will take place in the evening after normal business hours. Two lanes of traffic eastbound and westbound are expected to be maintained during normal daytime business hours.
