One table and two chairs are provided for each student organization that registers. This year, we had 30 student organizations register and participate. Also I think it needs to be held in a more accessible, more widely seen space. We have been a part of a few of these and we saw the least amount of foot traffic and students at this one in comparison to other fairs in the past. Most students didn't know it was even going on and some didn't know where it was. But as a word of encouragement, we love these fairs and they are a great way to be seen by students, especially freshman, and get students plugged in. The location was inconvenient for those setting up as it was laid out in long rows in narrow space, making it difficult to get in and out. It was also in one of the least traveled spaces on campus, making it unhelpful for attracting individuals that didn't make a special effort to seek it out. I think that it could have been in a better space it wasn’t very approachable Page 6 of 10 RSO ORIENTATION The Center for Student Involvement believes that through proper training and the providing of accurate and appropriate information, all registered student organizations will become better equipped with the tools necessary to succeed and will be able to provide enriching activities that will only enhance student life at Murray State University.
